We've been running our own pencil business for 20 years. We started from scratch, and now have over 70 schools participating in our “local” program in the Baltimore, Maryland area. We put the machines in the schools at no cost to the school, do all the service work and pay the schools a commission on the sales. They earn money from this great fundraiser, with no cash outlay or work. These, company owned pencil machines, are personally serviced by Patty Dickson -- known in the schools as "The Pencil Lady”. What started as an idea to earn a little part time income once her children reached school age (she could do all the servicing while they were at school), has now grown into a nice supplemental income for her and her husband David.
Schools in many areas of central Maryland can still be part of this great “no work” fundraiser. However we are now expanding the business and giving schools anywhere in the U.S. the opportunity to have their own pencil machine and operate their own fundraiser. With our buying power we can offer your school a great price on the pencil machine and the pencils.
